Project     Anti Ouch Pouches

Bring        Sewing machine or serger
                   Basic sewing supplies,
                   especially scissors
                   Sack lunch
                   (or order carry out)

There are several non-sewing steps such as cutting, turning, pressing or stuffing if you prefer not to bring a machine.

Community service projects allow our chapter to reach out to serve other organizations each year.  We support local groups by making custom sewn items that are created and donated by members of our chapter.

As members do community service sewing throughout the year, they can take finished items to a neighborhood group leader or bring them to any neighborhood group meeting or chapter event.

Members are asked to keep track of the hours and  the cost of supplies so the information can be reported to the National organization.
