Community Service -
Sewing Day
Our chapter supports several community service projects.  We are getting together
to sew for one or more of the groups we support.

There will be plenty of non-sewing tasks like cutting, turning, pressing, etc. that do
not require standing.  You are welcome to drop in for as long as you can or stay
for the entire day.

Here are the details:

    American Sewing Guild Sewing Day
    Central Illinois/Peoria Chapter
    Friday, September 15
    10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Peoria Public Library - North Branch
    3001 W. Grand Parkway
    Peoria, IL  61615

Sewing machine or serger (if you can and want to--not required)
    Basic sewing supplies
    Cutting Mats and rotary cutters
Turning equipment such as point turners
Irons and ironing mats or boards
Fabric from your stash (if you want to donate it)
               - cotton or cotton/poly blends
               - cotton flannel

This will be a fun opportunity to sew with your friends and support the community.

Questions are welcome!
