Our first charity sew of 2017 on Friday April 7th, was a big success! We made 100 bibs! Our sewing benefited Crittenton Crisis Nursery. Eleven women traced, sewed, trimmed, turned, pressed and topstitched the bibs donating 29 hours to this worthy cause. We kept busy, stopped for a quick lunch and went back to our jobs. Thank you to everyone for your time, energy and bringing a fun attitude.
Our next charity sew is Friday, September 8 at the North Branch of the Peoria Library off of Allen Road. We will be working on anti-ouch pouches. See you there!
The summer retreat is at Villa Maria in Springfield from August 21-23. The registration form is on page 4 of this newsletter.
